The Scottsdale Community College (SCC) Business School and Indigenous Scholars Institute/Cultural Center provides education in a place designed to celebrate Native American culture. Located on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRP-MIC), the new 32,719 SF Cloud Song Center is comprised of classrooms, a library, support space and faculty offices. The building also houses the Sun Earth Alliance Indian Club, open to all SCC students and the community. The exterior consists of tilt-up concrete walls; after curing, the embedded Saguaro cactus ribs were burned, leaving behind a unique design.
