Mayo Clinic West Expansion

The world-renowned Mayo Clinic’s Phoenix Campus expansion involves the complex structural design of a new 583,800 SF 7-story patient tower (concourse level, plus 6 levels above grade). Patient services include emergency, clinical, imaging, medical-surgical beds, and an outpatient surgical center. The project also includes 20,000 SF of tenant improvements. This new patient tower connects to the existing hospital and accommodates the possible future addition of three floors. Through an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), big room approach, collaborative processes are utilized, information is shared frequently, and transparent working practices provide benefit to all stakeholders.
