The complete renovation and modernization of the 50-year old building on the Arizona State University (ASU) Tempe campus included a comprehensive structural evaluation of all existing conditions and structural narrative prior to the design. Curtain walls and storefront systems were assessed; mechanical penthouses were placed on the roof, and the exterior envelope was replaced. The historical 6-story, 137,065 SF classroom and office facility underwent comprehensive interior tenant improvements including replacement of existing fire, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, elevators and recladding of the exterior.
