The 5-story 137,000 SF LEED Gold Certified building, located at the corner of College Avenue and 7th Street, is the home of the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering, Del E. Webb School of Construction, and the School of Sustainability Engineering and the Built Environment. In addition to the classrooms, the building is a “Living Lab” embellished with technology to measure how it heats, cools, lights, energizes, and rests. Additional components include faculty offices, a 200-seat auditorium, Sun Devil Marketplace, a coffee and wine bar, and a community room. Sustainability features include potable water reduction programs, use of recycled/renewable materials, shade trees, an exterior skin designed to shade the building, and maximizing the use of natural light. Pedestrian access is available from all sides of the building.
