The Carmin

Located in Tempe, AZ, The Carmin is an upscale apartment community for students attending Arizona State University (ASU). The 14-story residential complex contains 384 student residential units (833 beds), 3 amenity decks, as well as a 4-story parking structure and surface lot with 414 parking spaces. In addition, 5,000 SF of commercial and restaurant space is located on the ground floor; the roof-top amenity deck features a swimming pool and shade structures. Scaling the building size to neighboring buildings on the small property was a design challenge. CIP concrete construction was utilized on this 640,000 SF building.
