The Soleri Bridge is not only a pedestrian bridge, but a piece of art. The bridge was designed by the world famous architect, Paolo Soleri and Douglas Architects. The celestial inspired, 130′-long pedestrian bridge spans over the Arizona Canal. Tall steel towers are set directly south of the bridge with a 6″ gap in between them to create a shadow effect that projects the course of the sun onto the bridge. The structure is now a landmark in the City of Scottsdale.
