The University of Arizona (U of A) Honors Village includes a dormitory for honors college freshmen, a wellness/recreation center, and a parking garage. The 1,035 bed residential facility includes dining, kitchen and various assembly areas, and university office/admin space. Construction type consists of Type V-A wood frame over a CIP post-tensioned concrete podium for the 6-story portion, and wood frame on a post-tensioned concrete slab for the 4-story portion of the “single” structure.

The 3-story steel framed 52,000 SF recreation center “NorthREC” includes fitness equipment and recreation areas, and a health and wellness center. The adjacent 4 level precast parking garage provides 370 parking spaces.
